In November 2015, I travelled to Rome for a long weekend. However, as short as it was, I needed to make the most of my time there. So on my last full day, I took a train to Naples and then another to Pompeii. It was an unpopular time to go so when I arrived there was barely anyone else there- a perfect opportunity to take some photos that capture the emptiness of the ruins.
This collection of photos focuses on what once was, and what hasn't changed since: the erotic wall art only half visible, the Roman pillars still standing, the casts from bodies of those who perished in Pompeii.
These photographs are for sale individually or as a collection: please feel free to contact me with any additional questions.
